Club League Round 3
Surprisingly miserable weather conditions made last night’s racing quite challenging. The tough nuts who cycled out were already wet and cold from very heavy hail showers before two races set off onto the Meath roads. Yet again, a good turnout from St. Tiernan’s riders was great to see. Mark Hughes made a very welcome return and already has the physique of a Tour rider (Tour de Femme).
Everyone looked fitter and stronger than the previous week’s race and our lads rode quite strongly throughout a very wet and cold night. Martin was unlucky with punctures but was aided by Mark.
Some very cold and wet riders headed home afterwards and I take my hat off to those who cycled out and back.
