A busy week for the Club

A busy and successful week for St. Tiernan’s CC. From the high-paced Inter-Club League to the cobbles and climbs of Belgium, the purple jersey was well-represented across the board. 🟣

Inter-Club League (ICL) A standout night for the club with two major results:

  • Marcus took a great win in the Semi-Limit race.

  • Conor Sharkey claimed the top step in the Limit race—an incredible feat for his first-ever road race. Hats off, Conor! 🎩

IVCA - Brittas Bay Strong performances at Sunday’s IVCA races in Wicklow:

  • Conor Brophy secured a win in the Blue Race after a decisive attack in the final kilometers. 🏁

  • Adam Greally took a hard-earned 2nd place in the Red Race.

  • Alan Dempsey showed great grit to finish 7th in the Orange Race, despite battling cramps in the closing stages.

On the Continent Further afield, Beniamino and Michele represented STCC at Liège-Bastogne-Liège, tackling the Ardennes with true Italian style and panache. 🇧🇪🤌

Weekend Leisure Back at home, it was great to see so many members out on the roads. Large groups enjoyed the spring sunshine with spins across Wicklow, Meath, and Kildare.

Well done to everyone out racing and riding this week.
