There’s a long enough stretch along the canal from Naas towards Prosperous which is nice. We’ll stay together till after the short climb after Rathcoole. My plan is then for us to split into small groups of 4 – 6. Based on how enthusiastic people are up this short climb groups should naturally form. We can regroup at the top, to confirm smaller groups. Stops if needed can be Kilcock. My plan is a zone 2 spin (probably 30-32 km/h in a group) in a small group without any long big efforts. If people are after something harder or introducing intervals then that’s possible too. For the first 30-40 mins chat amongst the other riders and find out what people want to do. If you know the route in advance you can find a few lads game for what you’re after and head off in a suitable group after the little climb.
