The Reliability Trial. Saturday, January 10th, 2015

Our Saturday, January 10th spin will see all groups come together to ride 100-120km in a set time, reaching the midway stop at set time too.

The ride, a popular feature of British cycling clubs’ winter training, has a few purposes:
1) To test the riders’ levels of fitness
2) To test everyone’s ability to follow a specific route
3) To test the reliability of the bikes – aim to have no punctures or mechanicals!

It’s also a chance to have a coffee together and spin a round in a lovely, long purple Tiernan’s train.

The pace and route will be moderate with the distance and its correlation to the set times the focus of the morning.

Starting point is Taylor’s Lane Car Park at 9:30
